About one in four women and girls between the ages of 13 and 35 are finding it harder to manage their periods since the beginning of the pandemic, according to a survey by non-government organization WASH United, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (Waggs) and Unicef. For our latest Kita Keluarga initiative, we are looking for women/girls that are struggling to afford sanitary pads, menstrual pills, and hygiene products during this trying time.

Families that are economically challenged to afford daily meals and pay off utilities would most likely overlook the need to purchase hygiene products. Poor menstrual hygiene can lead to many issues, such as fungal or bacterial infections of the reproductive tract and the urinary tract. If you know any women/girls that are in need of this hygiene kit around Klang Valley please let us know.
