Youth Initiative Video Competition

Overview

Do you know the difference between refugees and migrants? Refugees are people who are compelled to flee their original place of residence and renounce their nationality because of persecution. Migrants are people who move away from their place of usual residence voluntarily to seek better livelihood. However, both often experience negative perception by most people in the host country.

To promote a positive image of refugees and migrants, the International Organization of Migration collaborated with Alien No More, Southern University College DJC, and Humanity Heroes to host a short video competition.
